Halle Martin is a seasoned legal executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. She is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Howley Foundation, where she leads initiatives to provide educational opportunities to students regardless of their economic background.

Prior to this role, Halle was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at TransDigm Group Incorporated, an NYSE-listed aerospace and defense components manufacturer. During her tenure, Halle was instrumental in the company’s growth from $1.7 billion in sales to $5.4 billion in sales, overseeing over 25 acquisitions totaling $10.9 billion and leading eight divestitures.

Halle’s legal expertise extends across various areas, including corporate governance, internal investigations, and commercial contracting. She has a proven track record of developing robust compliance programs, managing high-stakes litigation, and advising boards of directors on complex legal matters. Her accomplishments include the successful management of two shareholder derivative lawsuits and the development of comprehensive fraud, anticorruption, and trade compliance programs.

Halle earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
