Greg Floerke is an accomplished executive with over 35 years of experience spanning the energy and construction sectors. Currently, he serves as the EVP & Chief Operating Officer at MPLX LP (NYSE: MPLX), where he oversees operations for one of the leading logistics and infrastructure companies in the energy industry.

Greg’s career includes significant service time in senior management roles in the construction field, where he developed a strong foundation in project management and large-scale infrastructure development. This background provided him with a unique perspective that has informed his strategic approach in subsequent roles within the energy sector.

Prior to his current role, Greg held several key leadership positions, including EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at MPLX, and before that at MarkWest Energy Partners. He also served as Senior Vice President, Northeast Region at MarkWest. His expertise extends to managing complex commercial operations, driving business growth, and optimizing operational efficiency across diverse and challenging environments.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
